Player Plot - Taking Down the Hearts Gang

Sylus is a crime lord where he comes from, the unchallenged leader of an entire district that serves as a hub for crime, illicit trade, experimental research, and is strictly off-limits to civilians. Since he arrived in Ellipsa he has been taking the measure of the Underground and crime gangs here and for the most part has found them wanting. He's unimpressed and hasn't found it difficult to make a name for himself with them and around the Casino and Underground Mall.
One of the four 'suits' gangs has caught his attention, however, in a way that the others haven't. He finds the operations of the Hearts gang to be something more than worthy of complete eradication (we don't approve of human experiments in this house) and has decided to finally make a move on doing something about that.
While this could be something he could probably accomplish by himself, that wouldn't be any fun. So I'm trying to open it up to other people being involved as much as possible.
Around the 7th of February Sylus will put up a network post declaring his intentions. This will be the 'in' for characters who want to come along to do anything from making a lot of noise to outright sabotage and combat, though Sylus will be reserving dealing with the head of the snake for himself. He does intend to just cut said head off (this means murder). I'm open to having him persuaded to not do a lot of murders but if anyone wants to try we'd probably have to talk it through as he definitely sees this as the easiest way to solve the problem.
Once the Hearts gang is dealt with their base will be open for examination and retrieval of any research/subjects they didn't dispose of on their way out. While they won't be utterly destroyed they will be greatly reduced in number and on the run, and won't be making any kind of comeback for a while.
Sylus himself won't be taking over the gang or any existing one, but after this is likely to be starting his own (name pending). I'd look to put a log up for the actual raid around the 9th, with an aim to have everything ICly resolved before the TDM goes up on the 13th.

As we head into February, I wish to draw attention to the calendar! As you can see, instead of a regular EMP/ATP meme we have bimonthly, we're going to have a 4th wall EMP/ATP at the end of the month.
4th wall will happen in March where the event would normally be held. Normal mod announcements and such will still happen.
We hope to see a lot of visitors!
On another note, we will have a special NPC post at the start of this one, regarding the January Event and more. Please look forward to it.

This is Cat bringing in my second character to Seasons, Nie Mingjue from Mo Dao Zu Shi! He's pretty much the big powerhouse of the series, with anger management issues (he's gotten a little better now) and a profound love for all things righteous and just. He is a leader in his specific cultivation sect and attained that position far too early in life due to his parents' passing when he was young. He was suddenly thrown into a world of political tension, leadership, and parenting his younger brother much faster than most because of it.
He is not a main character in the series, but he does play a significant role in the mystery of the story, so if you don't wish to be spoiled, just let me know here or on his permissions page on his blog, and I'll make sure to abide! A belated introduction.

Good morning,
On this Eve of a new year I come to you realizing a grave error I made. I never properly introduced myself. But now I have brought an additional pair of characters to the game, so I figure as the old year is rung out I would begin anew with a proper introduction.
I'm Ven, and I am afraid that I don't have a singular place I can lay claim to. I travel often for work, so I’m often bouncing from place to place—but no matter where I am, I always make time for stories. I love RP, writing both prose and poetry, and fantasy, especially anything steeped in grand fantasy and heroic adventures. There’s something about shared worlds, meaningful characters, and big, mythic moments that keeps me grounded, even when I’m on the move.
I joined this magnificent game some months ago with Maes Hughes from Full Metal Alchemist who is Autumn, but am now adding Ekko from Arcane who will be spring and Rider (Iskandar) from Fate/Zero who falls under Summer's domain. I look forward to having all three of them around a bit more often, as well as continue to engage through discord a bit more frequently as well. This cute little seal plushie will tell its owner positive things to make them feel validated when hugged - and especially say it approves of them and what they're doing. Due to being magical, it never runs out of 'battery'.
It also has some candy canes and gingerbread cookies with it in a bag. 'Tis the season.

A Change to Character Businesses page!
Nov. 20th, 2025 02:56 pmseasonsmodsThis is quick heads up that we have made a change to the Character Businesses page.
You can now make non-profit businesses without needing a business permit from rewards. As long as the business your character runs doesn't earn them any money, they can make it happen without permits (such as the Welcome Center).
If you have made a non-profit business with the business permit before, you are now free to use that business permit on something else or gift it to another player/character.
Both normal and non-profit businesses can now be listed on the page, in separate categories.

itaidolHey everyone! With the event plotting underway, I wanted to throw out the idea of a Labuwu Blind box-Style Swap Meet as a way of making new CR and strengthening existing CR!
The idea is simple: ICly, your character wins a labuwu of someone they don’t recognize, or only recognize second hand, or someone they simply REALLY didn’t want to get. This can be threaded out or simply handwaved! A few days into the Night Market, Amari will put up an open post on the network proposing a swap meet where people can come posting what labuwu they have and/or what ones they’re looking for and hopefully meet up with other characters who have just the one they’re looking for! The true collectible experience!
OOCly, this will be a coordinated effort, at least to a degree. I won’t stop you if you wanna just run wild and free but yeah.
If you’re interested, reply here with this form and let us know who you’re interested in collecting and then reply to others with who you’re interested in finding, then coordinate trades that can take place in the network mingle or even on your own event TL! I’m not the cops!
