Arts Festival OOC Plotting
Apr. 7th, 2025 09:30 pmsaxsongsRen asked for assistance for the art festival in this network post that I'm finally getting back to (my apologies for my lateness)! This is an OOC plotting post for that. I will have different categories for stuff in the comments.
My thoughts so far are the usual art stands people can set up, as well as fighting tournaments but also a new magic brush art fight tournament (inspired by Pictomancers from Final Fantasy XIV).
Any new ideas are always welcome! The arts festival would be at the end of the month, somewhere around 25th-27th.
All of the tournaments have a base reward of:
3rd Place: 200 moon coins
2nd Place: 500 moon coins
1st place: 2000 moon coins & a mystery gift
Sign ups for all the tournaments ends on Thursday, April 24th, 23:59 PST. The results will be revealed on the log that will be posted on Saturday, April 26th.

If you forgot or just couldn't make it somehow, we have one week grace period where you can app back as normal! So you can app back before April 7th, 23:59 PST! A CORRECTION for Dragon Blessed Powers
I'll start off this reminder with a notice that the new Dragon Blessed Powers learning times were incorrect. They said characters can learn 2 regular skills per month or 1 advanced/high risk per month, which is too fast!
The new guidelines reads:
• 1 normal skill per month OR
• 1 advanced/high risk skill per three months
So if a character learns a new normal skill in March, they would have to wait at least two months until they can learn an advanced skill or they can keep learning the smaller skills first.
This doesn't change how the original powers are learned, and they can be learned at the same time as the dragon blessed ones.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the mix up!

Starting January, questboards will be posted once every three months (so January, April, July, October) and will be larger. We will also improve the permanent questboard on the guild page.
Due to this change the October-November questboard & mingle is still valid this month, if you still want to interact with it.

As you might guess from the header - this is a bit of an OOC plotting post for a tiny kidnapping mini-plot thanks to this month's Emotional Crimes quest.
And I'd like to take this chance to basically open the floor to those who may want to play hero and do a rescue or potentially get into some shenanigans on that front to help instigate CR and just have a fun time - even if the kidnapee isn't.
So, basic planning:

There will also be a sign up for the group that will be saving Inaba as a top level in this post as well and that is going to be a first come, first serve basis. Feel free to throw up your own plotting threads too!

- ICly, this will be taking place over the course of ~24 hours. OOCly, the posts will be going up at around the same time, but feel free to backthread as needed.
- Long story short: Inaba is going to be getting kidnapped by Guzma and be placed in one of the emotion magic cages!
- There will be a network post regarding the kidnapping on October 12th, which will be the same day she's getting kidnapped; this post will be coming from Inaba herself who is going to be trying to contact the authorities but winds up contacting the network instead, to allow as many people to participate.
- There will most likely be a follow up log for the sake of consolidating things thrown up at around the same time.
- I'm leaving any confrontations with Inaba's kidnapee to Shiranna's discretion, but as for saving Inaba, I'd like to personally limit that to one thread, 3 characters maximum for timeline's sake. Other characters are allowed to fail for one reason or another, there's A Lot happening, after all. Let's work things out to make things fun for everyone. :)
