Quest Mingle! This post is for plotting!
• These quests are valid from start of December until end of January.
• Characters don't need to be a member of the guild to do quests and anyone can do any segment's quest! The quests are just marked this way to show where the quests are taking place.
• City Location Details | Segment Location details
• Remember to keep distances (times are calculated as walking times) in mind when planning what quests to do when. You have two full months, so there's no rush!
• For some of the monsters, additional details can be found from the Beastiary.
• Rewards are for one completion of the Quest, but characters can do it multiple times to earn more money from them, as the problems do repeat.
• Please see the guild page for permanent quests.

Kinda Round | Everything had been going so well, but nothing lasts forever. A volunteer once again left a door open and a bunch of magical animals went out. They're eager to find owners, we suppose. The ones that ran away are part of a species called Fairy Seal. These critters are small, always pup sized and magical seals, and they're... kinda round and very fluffy. Their magic consists of making anything they touch taste like fish, so they can eat anything and enjoy it. Occasionally they also make people and things taste like fish, but are unable to eat them - but they do lick a lot. Hey, at least you won't smell like fish, at least? But once again, please help us find them and return them to shelters (or adopt one, that's also an option). They enjoy swimming, but aren't exactly aquatic creatures. | The effect of 'tasting like fish' is luckily very temporary and only lasts for a few hours. Some of the pups are bad at controlling what they use their magic on, but some are very good at it and won't accidentally cause chaos. Fairy Seals are usually very friendly towards people and affectionate - they like sleeping at the feet of whoever bonds with them. | 500 Moon Coins per Fairy Seal returned (Max 10 times) |
Memorabilia | Because Christmas in Ellipsa is a season of being close to your family, friends and lovers - I, Riki, am providing everyone a temporary Memory Camera. It can take five photos, but cannot be refilled with the usual methods; after that it's just a regular camera. I want to give everyone this opportunity to take pictures of your missing loved ones like they would be here. Even those who have previously purchased a Memory Camera can take one. There's enough for everyone. | Memory Camera: A polaroid camera that captures memories. You point it at a scenery while channeling magic into it and it will take a snapshot of the person (or pet, or anything you might be thinking about) as if they're in the scenery you're taking a picture of. Cannot be used to forge evidence as the law enforcement can detect magic used, this is mostly to take pictures of people you miss. | Pictures, a regular camera |
Sewer Mutant Giant Rodents | Apparently, some people have been tossing rejected potions down to the sewers, affecting the creatures living down there and making them grow. How do we know? Well, recently some very large rats have been getting out of the city's manholes. They're a menace and keep eating everything, and the kids are afraid of them! At least the effects of the potion are temporary, but we don't know how many potions there are in the water - and what other effects they might have! Please do something about this before it becomes a worse issue. | Time to go down into the sewers and potentially clean the parts affected by the potions. The effects the rats, bats and even alligators can have based on the potions are growth spurts (1-2 meters/3-6'5 feet tall rats and bats, 5-6 meter/16-19'6 feet) alligators), fire breathe and freeze touch. Of course, these potions can also affect regular people, but luckily everything is temporary (lasts for a max. of 12 hours). | 4000 Moon Coins |

CubTales, Woo oo! | While Aurora Bears love humans, normally they're very shy and need to be lured out to meet anyone in their own pace. So clearly something's up, when these shiny cubs run to anyone with some hesitation or no hesitation at all and try to make it clear, that people need to come with them. If you follow them, they'll take you to a polar bear cub, who got lost from its pack, and they'll help you lead the cub back where it belongs so that the polar bear cubs can return to their pawrents! But be careful because those parents will NOT be happy to see anyone near them, and it's especially a bad idea to be anywhere near their cubs once they see their babies! | Aurora Bears are bears that will always remain cub sized and they love humans. They're very shy and need to be lured out of hiding on clear skied nights. They shine with the colors of the Northern Lights and make good "night lamps" for people afraid of the dark. They eat like regular bears but don't require hibernation. They make perfect pets. | 500 Moon Coins |
Do you wanna build a snow... what? | Several different snowmen and other snow creatures are missing parts of their body and wish for people to make them so they can continue their merry way. So, come on, let's go out and help them by rolling and shaping those parts to them from all the snow around here. Some of them may even want accessories like scarves and hats, and don't forget carrots for the snowmen! Some of these creatures are aggressive and some of them are extremely friendly, or anywhere from between those. Some of the mount-sized friendly ones may even let any of their helpers ride around the Winter segment on their backs, but it's a cold ride, and hopefully you have ways to hold on somehow while you're up there! | Some of the Merry Snows (collective name for the snow creatures) will give characters crystals or other precious gems that they've found in the Winter Segment as a gift for helping them. | 700 Moon Coins |
❗High Risk Quest❗ The Ice Army CW/TW: puppeteering | Winter Segment is always really cold. Well, now it's gotten even colder. There's a monster made of ice who's riding on a horse made of snow and ice, who we have decided to call the Ice Empress. This monster can control the icy winds and create other monsters made out of snow, ice, rocks and dark energy. What's worse, the Ice Empress can also turn other creatures and people into her own puppets. Those who get surrounded by her icy winds will be covered in frost and follow her demands. It's a giant ice army - and it's headed towards the city. Controlled people can even walk across the bridge like normal and do her bidding. Something needs to be done and fast. | Finding and attacking the Ice Empress (a faceless human-looking monster, made of ice and crystals) directly is hard as she's always protected by armies of both flying and land-bound creatures. All of them are weak to fire, but those that are also made of rock will continue fighting (earth abilities may be a solution to that). The Ice Empress also makes new troops to replace those fallen at rapid speed while giggling loudly. If the Ice Empress is defeated another will appear in a few days to do the same again. The dark energy surrounding the troops will make otherwordly abilities less effective against them. | 9000 Moon Coins |

Into the Open Air | It's an exciting time in the Spring segment because a big herd of Gravity Goat kids are taking their first steps of running around above the ground. But they're still so small and inexperienced, that they keep losing control of where they're going and so the winds fly them to every direction in the open air! Even if you can't fly or don't have powers to help with this, you can try bribing them with food and snacks to make them try to fly to you. Locals or anyone, who has read about local fauna, can tell that bringing Fabric Lambs around may also help with calming down and bribing the goat kids. Be careful of their hooves, most of them only kick accidentally but it still hurts whenever one of them accidentally hits someone with their kicks. And the more these kids practice their running skills, the more they get used to it and eventually they will learn to run in the air without any problems! | The parents of both the both of the species are keeping a watchful eye further away, but are mostly using this chance to rest while their babies socialize with people. They're friendly unless someone tries to hurt or kidnap any of the babies. An angry Gravity Goat can definitely do quite a lot of damage with their hooves! | 500 Moon Coins |
Life is Like a Hurricane | The Hurricane Birds are back and now they make even stronger tornadoes. This time they don't only trap people into them, but they also try to punch anyone, who comes closer to them. That's right, their tornadoes can now form hands and those huge hands can turn into fists. They can also grab things and throw them. Needless to say, they're a problem and should be dealt with. They're especially targeting the just recently made farmlands. | Hurricane Birds are eagles made of steel that fly in groups of three, forming tornadoes on land and hurricanes on water. Their weak spot is in their stomach - the only place with no steel. They're back to avenge the humiliation they suffered last time they were around. | 1000 Moon Coins |
The Gentle Rain | There's a rumor going around, that you can get healing water at the Prism Lake! It's said to heal everything which may or may not be true at all! But if you want to test it, you'll have to go to the Prism Lake during a rainy night and collect the rain falling there in the moonlight. Let's hope you brought something there with you to collect it, or maybe you'll be lucky and there are free buckets on the shore. But what the rumor didn't tell you is that this rain also has relaxing effects on everyone, so if you're there all alone and/or stay on it for too long, you'll be so relaxed that you might fall asleep (hopefully you won't fall into the lake) and a good target for any dangers around the area too. | The rain won't work if you don't collect rain during night and under moonlight, otherwise you'll only get normal water. So make sure it's the right time of the day and that the sky is clear too (yes, the rain falls from a cloudless sky, making it very rare). And while it won't heal literally everything, it will heal wounds so use it whenever you want / need them to close much faster. | Healing Water |

Monkey Trouble | During the annual maintenance check of the Great Crossing bridge we saw that a large number of Hell's Monkeys were causing havoc on the bridge. They're notorious monster monkeys that can use fire and often have parts of their furs lit. For some reason they're destroying the bridge and throwing flaming rocks and bananas at people who come nearby. The bridge is important for some wildlife to get to the other side - and for people, too - so we want them to stop! But there's little we can do against them. | The Hell's Monkeys climb all over the bridge and bombard things that they set on fire - or just plain old fireballs. They will get very offended if they're bribed with bananas and might try to jump on the person that does to set them on fire. The towers near the Great Crossing have some wild medical herbs growing on them that help with various status effects (including burn). Falling from the bridge into the water doesn't cause damage and a person can't pass through the barrier and fall down the waterfall into the Darkness. | 1000 Moon Coins |
The Swimming Dead CW/TW: liches/undead/decaying corpses | A request came through from the Mermaids in the Great Ocean Lake. There's been a lot of trouble from herds of Lich Sharks. They keep attacking the coral homes of the mermaids, biting pieces of their homes off. They've been able to protect most of the Mermaid Village, but the amount of sharks seems to increase every time a new wave comes. So they definitely need help in fighting them. Better yet, it would be great if someone found a way to make them stop. | The Lich Sharks are undead sharks with either a skeletal appearance or their skin is partially falling off. Their bite can paralyze or drain all life/magic/touch energy from their targets. They're part of a ritual someone has set up in nearby caves. There are different dark magical crests hidden well along the seaweed. Destroying them will make the sharks stop appearing. When one crest is destroyed, another will appear in a few days' time. | 5000 Moon Coins |
Waterfall of Gold | Rumor has it that in the north-east corner of the Jungle of Judgement, just on the border between Spring and Summer segments, there's a secret passage. Once you find a tree that grows golden apples, you're on the right path. Follow the passage and you will find a waterfall that shines golden under the sunlight. Behind the waterfall, in a cave, there's a special weapon ore. Anyone who makes a weapon out of that ore will be able to make a weapon that evolves with the user. The better you get in handling the weapon, the stronger and sturdier it will be. Bring back some weapon ore and see what you can make! If the rumors are true, that is. | The rumors are true, but what they don't tell is that weapon ore is a favored snack of Buffa-loons. Buffa-loons are creatures that are a mix of a buffalo and a loon. They have sharp horns and beaks (they can break rocks easily), as well as four strong legs and wings (they're great swimmers, but clumsy fliers). Some of them are easy to bribe with pieces of the weapon ore or some fresh fruit from the jungle while some of them are very greedy and want everything someone is holding. They differ from a size of a loon to a size of a buffalo. | Weapon Ore |

No Return | Mysterious signs with a silhouette of a running person have appeared near the Forest of Courage. Those who have followed the signs to investigate them have disappeared. Whenever someone passes the sign a texts flashes on the sign: No Return. No one knows if the people are dead or just lost wherever the sign takes them - just that they haven't come back. If someone could figure out what's going on and if the signs can be removed that would be great. Just don't destroy them! If the people are still alive, something might happen if the signs are destroyed, right? | The signs create an additional pocket dimension. These pocket dimensions are mazes that reflect the person's inner world (you can intercept that how you want). If two people enter at the same time the mazes are a mix of both of them. The goal is to get through the maze and solve a series of puzzles and riddles that are all somehow related to the characters in the maze. Those who successfully make it past the maze will find some natives wandering aimlessly (this magic does not work on them) and are able to guide them out through the door that appears. Those who can't make it past the maze will have the option of fighting a mirror image of themselves and break free of the place that way without a native to save. | 1000 Moon Coins for every native saved |
Not So Peachy | This probably sounds crazy, but recently there have been sightings of peaches near the Autumn Airship Station! Not just any peaches, but walking ones! They have legs and arms, even some sort of faces. They smell amazing, but they're horrible and attack people! They use their peach fluids and toss them at their enemies. And guess what? It burns! It burns a lot! It even burned a hole into the soil! I don't want to know what happens if they get a hold of you! Please help! They might be anywhere. | Sentient Peach Monsters are large (1-2 metres/3-6'5 feet tall) peaches that hate people. They were formed when someone threw a peach out of the barrier and somehow they're very offended about that. Whenever they use their own peach juice they magically regenerate the skin back, but the fluid takes a lot longer. So the more they use the weaker they become. They can be destroyed by breaking the pit inside of them (but it's almost as hard as a diamond). | 2000 Moon Coins |
❗High Risk Quest❗ Dark Crimson Eyes | From beyond the southern border of the Autumn Segment, a group of terrifying creatures have appeared. I was in the Abandoned Graveyard and saw them wrecking everything in their line of sight. They even tried to enter the graveyard when they saw me, but luckily the protection around that place is solid! They were giant chimeras. Body and head of a bear (face all scratched up, red eyed), back legs of a dinosaur, front legs of a wild cat, tail of a scorpion. They were surrounded by that dark energy scientists keep talking about, too! They're headed towards the city. | Chimera Bears are extremely dangerous species that usually travel in packs of three. In addition to their mix of body parts, they're 5 meters/16'4 feet tall and getting hit by one will feel like getting hit by a truck. What species of dinosaur and wild cats the legs are depends on the bear. Their weakest points that they're really slow and it takes a long time for them to get off the ground if they're knocked down. To add to the difficulty the chimeras are coated in dark energy, making otherwordly abilities less effective against them. | 9000 Moon Coins |

Passionate Energy | Intimacy is a great source of power. That's what some of the scientists thought so they made a device that collects energy that gathers when you have sex. This device is small and can be just kept on a night stand or under the bed and it will do the deed. It magically pulls the energy from the air and stores it in vials. Once it's gathered the essence can be used to make potions even more powerful. This will help to develop even more potions as well that we haven't been able to. | The devices have 10 vials that can be filled. Each vial can be sold for money or kept. The device can also be kept after the quest, but the vials need to be provided otherwise afterward. One session of sex gets you 2 full vials of the essence. Oral sex also counts, as long as they're clearly having intimate fun. | 2000 Moon Coins per vial sold (for a max of 10 vials). |
Sexy Fight Ring CW/TW: voyeurism | At the Underground Mall a new temporary entertainment shop has opened. People are being paid to fight in a ring, surrounded by one-way mirrors. There's an audience on the other side, watching, but the participants can't see them. The fight is done in underwear and without weapons - otherwise it's freestyle. Wrestle, judo, just plain old fist fight - anything goes. There's even some different oils and mud to play around with, if you prefer. The participants aren't allowed to actually have sex even if they'd get aroused; kissing and touching is fine, but the moment they have sex in the ring it's game over and they only get half of the reward. | No one can be forced to do this quest in any way. Everyone will be checked that they consent to fighting in their underwear and being watched. There are also safe words in place if someone wants to quit the fight - the mirrors will close and they're allowed to leave right away. It's meant to be a safe environment despite being a (sexy) fight ring. | 6000 Moon Coins per fight |
The Love for Feet | My request is very simple. Take pictures of your feet. They can be bare or they can be dressed up nicely, as long as they're the main focus of the pictures. Of course the more feet the better, I say, so make a fun photoshoot with your friends. I have reserved rooms at the Frostreign Sauna Spa - for two nights - for anyone who wants to do a feet photoshoot. Just leave the pictures in a memory stick in an envelope at the front desk once you leave. | The front desk clerks know what the people are there for and what the envelopes are. Some of them may give the people A Look but most of them are either neutral and amused about it. The rooms are provided with neat little feet accessories and lights to help make the pictures look even better. Those responsible for the questboard weren't comfortable putting this on the normal boards. | 2000 Moon Coins, two nights at the Frostreign Sauna Spa |
