I think Eren's going to get his wish for a proper banging after all (and avoid meeting a disembodied tentacle)! They have better chemistry than I expected... and by that I mean that between Eren's manipulative streak and Hijikata's internal babygirlification of him (He's seen way too much shit!! He's humanity's only hope against the titans and the evil other titan shifters! He has such sad eyes!) it's a bit of a shitshow, but I think that's great.
