Of course right when we finally plot again, I'm in shambles... /craugh/ But I'm happy!!

I've been headcanoning/assuming that he vaguely knows that Saya's still around and working at the same club as before, but apart from that, she's truly been so scarce! He'll honestly assume the worst, because that's been kind of the precedent... she's one of the unluckiest people he knows for sure. They'll have a lot of catching up to do, but good luck to them doing that in the middle of a crisis... well, they can meet again afterwards! Let's see how far they get!
