I was about to hit you up after having seen Saya around again!! Man, she's been going through it, hasn't she... Hijikata always feels so out of his depth with her in a "I'm from a comedy/parody anime and she's on 11 layers of multiverse-spanning tragedy" kind of way, but that won't stop him from being happy to see her again!! Even if the circumstances are... well.

I'm honestly game for anything, Hijikata is just useless at healing - it's the one thing he can't do at all; he doesn't even have any healing potions in his inventory! But he could tide her over with touch energy while getting her to a healer, maybe? Or they can fight side by side; it's been a while! Or both, both is good. This was an unhelpful answer... in doubt, we can always just flip a coin!
