Character Name: Toshirou Hijikata Canon: Gintama (+ Prismatica & Isle of Avalon CRAU) Season: Summer
Event Plans: Oh man. Let's get dangerous!! First, though Hijikata will roll up for the "spring cleaning". He's only partly in it for the goodies - as a frequent quester, he's established a good rapport with the guild staff (or so he thought), so if any of them turned out to be enemy agents, that'd sting!
Of course, when the blackout hits, they'll have other things to worry about. He'll contribute his fire magic to help light the city up... if he'd known that this would happen, he'd have prioritised learning the dragon-blessed light magic! Alas. The news of the strange rods discovered by the dragons will pretty much give him war flashbacks, seeing how he and his expedition group encountered those almost a year ago. At the time, they reported the incident and dug up however many of those things they could find, but clearly, whoever buried them back then got more! Not good.
Being a police officer, he'll focus on keeping the crime in the city under control (given the darkness, he'll also deploy the SPOON - but a half-dozen ghosts can only do so much!) and, eventually, focus on defending the HQ when it comes under fire. I don't plan on getting him killed since he's already set to lose his Servant, and how can he suffer when he's dead too, but I'm 100% here for action, danger, and drama (no matter which party get hurt or rescued or whatnot)! I won't turn him into a vampire since he's already a weredog and he can only cope with so much, but I'm happy to have him deal with others who are being attacked or have been turned, be it as their rescuer, victim, or willing blood donor!
Of course, he'll head out to deal with the dark rods once the action plan stands - any partners are welcome (and I'll probably RNG how lucky he'll be with the fairy ribbon... this isn't his area of expertise!). While he'll attend the party in the aftermath of all that, he'll be in a pretty grim mood. They've really known peace for too long, haven't they?
