Legends and Myths: There used to be a group of people who believed all of the Seasons had a God. They believed that making offerings for them would help to keep them at peace and that the natural catastrophes were a sign of their ire. No one was, however, able to confirm their existence or find any even more ancient text about such gods existing.

Science: Magic is constantly gathering new information from other worlds. That's why sometimes new cultures or traditions may pop up or new trends (albeit sometimes really backdated) become viral. It's also how new leaps in science and technology happen.
