I don't think them working against each other makes much sense (unless Hijikata is feeling that petty) but they could definitely end up as each other's collateral damage while going against the hosts! My only limit is Levi not losing but he can definitely lose some layers before that becomes an issue :'')

He'd probably feel a little proud if Hijikata decides to cheat with him (lmao how this sounds out of context...) but he also might berate him for being a dirty cop after, there's just no winning lmao. (He's probably okayish with cops who are dirty in a fair way though, aka turn a blind eye to people doing business to survive and don't demand exorbitant fees for it.)
